Hehe, easier said then done, but we're online. And we're ready to talk about TV, it's September and the Fall Season has officially started. New shows, renewed shows, continued seasons, etc. We discuss it all here. So register for an account, browse around and post about everything you like or dislike about the TV you watch.

A small update, we've been working on our site a bit and have added a few sections. As you can see in the navigation menu at the top of each page you can now to go the forum, your personal control panel, the projects (for bug reports and site feedback), the blog section, the chat section, etc. We will soon make this easier to work with when we introduce our new style to everybody. But for now, we've enabled and opened up our offtopic forums, here you can chat about everything that doesn't fit any of the other forums, be it general chit chat, youtube, iptv or find resource links.

Enjoy! Oh by the way, we're still looking for new Editors to help us out with tv shows, an announcement about this will be posted this week.

And here's the first style change update

The style is obviously not done, but the first part has been completed: The header.

Go play with it, get familiar with it and please report back issues! So we can fix them. I hope everybody likes the changes, such as the new logo, the tab navigation, and the slide out menu items.

Another small update:

The feedback from our visitors about the header with the logo, tabs, navigation, and breadcrumbs have been reviewed and processed, most of the bugs are fixed and tweaks are applied and implemented. If you have more site feedback please use our site feedback section. Thanks everybody! We had a lot of positive responses.

More updates:

There is another forum opened called 'tv hardware and software', we had a few questions about ' but where do I post about my DVR ' and well .. now you can, it's in that forum. I hope this gets everybody interested about that technology, because .. we don't want to miss our fav. tv shows right? Go check it out for the latest news on tivo, dvrs, slingbox, and other hardware and software. A great resource for those interested in that and recording television and media centers and whatnot.

Oh, and the resource forum is now open for new threads. So feel free to post your resource links there so we can all benefit from your bookmarks.

And uhm, what I forgot to mention the other day is that we have a bit of a social networking going on at our site, so feel free to submit cool threads with news or stuff like that to digg.com or your social bookmarking sites. If you're a member of stumbleupon we invite you to tag our pages.

Ok, that's it for today .. maybe not much on the visual end, but.. I've spend my time talking to the co-owner and dealing with some business in regards to the site. And I've been posting a damn lot amount of threads for your enjoyment. (And done some secret stuff behind the scene that I can't go into just yet).

And before we roll into the weekend here's another short update :

We will soon improve our "chat" section, integrating it with the forum software, and connecting it to irc.wetalk.tv for the channel #chat So check the chat tab in the header some time this weekend or use your fav. chat client to connect directly.

Additionally, we've added a few custom profile fields such as real name, gender and favorite tv shows to your public profile. Go to your account > profile > and set them if you feel comfortable doing so.

Enjoy the weekend, please come to our chat channel, and don't forget to register and post to our forum, or publish a personal blog entry. The fall season roll out is going steady and we will soon have more tv to talk about.

Oh and as a surprise, we have assigned two editors to a few of our tv show forums. Welcome TSPenguin and falcor, thank you for your help on our forums. TV Show editors will be helping us with posting up to date info and links and news about that show, keeping us all up to date, so you have cool new stuff to read up about your favorite tv show. We're starting with Heroes, Weeds, and Californication.

This weekends update is short and simple, with a little invitation to our members.

We've installed a feature called "featured discussions" to our forum where the admins can tag certain threads, and these will show up listed on the forum's index page. This way you get a quick overview of threads that are pretty good, or informative, and that you could perhaps participate in.

If you think you know a thread that's better and want it to get listed just click the 'report this post' icon, and include in your text "this would be a good thread for the featured discussion box", that way our staff knows to review it. (or just privmsg one of our admins)

The higher the quality of the thread, the more likely it will get featured on the forum's home! So start posting.

Now that the weekend is over it's time to work on the site again without slacking

We're working on our rules page, here you can find our forum rules, our TOS and our privacy policy, among other things .. http://wetalk.tv/rules.php The rules are semi final. Once the staff agreed on the rules we will post an official announcement (and extra info for members who've already registered).

Also, we're working on our footer still, the footer is now 50% completed, the links actually link to a page, and the content for those pages are being written this week. We had a busy weekend and early week with some cool tv show releases and premieres, so .. that's what took up our free time. Check our forums for these threads. Talking about threads, we're working on a marketing program that should drive more traffic to our site. So expect more cool topics soon.

Our site has been open for 2 weeks now, and we can finally take a look at our statistics. We've had over 1,000 unique visitors, who created over 12,500 page views, and we've got a good amount of keywords that people were interested in and that means they found the right content on our site. Users stay on our site for an average of 10 minutes, which is either a false negative result, or impressive.

We're still working on new things, our registration, account information and upgrade system that I created is being installed. We will soon publish some announcements about this as we will announce that we are looking for editors, advertisers, site partners and of course, more members.

We wish to thank all our members who've been with us from the start and who've been enjoying the site so far. There's more to come, so check back regularly.

It's been a busy week, so apologies for the lack of updates. But we've been working hard on the content of our web site. So don't forget to take a look around and participate in discussions. We're still building tools for both our community members and team members to make it much cooler for everybody. Stay tuned! Especially to our forums and your TV. Fall season is going strong with Prison Break, House, Heroes, and other freakin' awesome shows.

We've added more show note details and threads with information, clips and news to the forums, go check them out and join the conversations please.
